GallaCheck Privacy Policy

In short

GallaCheck does not collect, send, share or sell any data. Your reports are read and matched on your own computer, inside Chrome, and never leave it.

Only the files you choose or drop into the side panel: POS sales exports, payment reports (UPI apps, card machines, banks) and cashier reports, in Excel or CSV.
These files are read in your browser's memory. They are not uploaded anywhere.
When you close the side panel, the files and results are cleared from memory.

Using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on this device only:

Settings: when the business day ends and the payment-matching time window.
File formats you set up: column headings, which column holds what, and the labels used for payment modes and statuses (for example "Google Pay" means UPI), so files in the same format are read automatically next time. You can delete them in Settings.

No bill amounts, payments, transaction references, report contents or results are stored. Nothing is synced to your Google account.

No servers, no accounts, no logins.
No analytics, tracking, advertising or cookies.
No access to the websites you visit. GallaCheck cannot read or change any web page.
No network requests of any kind.

When you press Export to Excel, the file is saved by Chrome to your computer like any download. What happens to it after that is up to you.

Removing GallaCheck from Chrome (chrome://extensions → Remove) deletes everything it stored.

If this policy changes, this page and its date will be updated with the new version of the extension.
